What do you actually do in Gangstar Mirage City?

Gangstar Mirage City: Online is a free-to-play multiplayer open-world action RPG set in the near-future city of Rooklyn. Based on the publisher’s official announcements, the core loop combines:

• Story missions — the narrative and progression spine
• Dynamic street events and quests — live activities that appear in the open world
• Driving and shooting — on-foot combat plus a full vehicle layer
• Co-op heists — the headline multiplayer mode
• Competitive activities, racing and PvP

How does progression work?

The confirmed progression systems layer on top of each other:

1. Vehicles — collect and upgrade a garage; upgrades are a confirmed system.
2. Business empire — build underground businesses that expand your territory.
3. Net worth — the umbrella progression metric that grows with your assets.
4. Customization — weapons and characters are both customizable.

Is it single-player or multiplayer?

Both layers exist, but the game is always online (see the offline answer). Story content can be played solo, while heists, street events and competitive modes are built around other players in a shared city.
